Instruments of Time & Truth was founded to be a resource for the musical community of Oxford and the surrounding region: world-class period instrumentalists, at rates that are fair to everyone involved.
Each season we work alongside college chapels, cathedral and church choirs, choral societies and festivals, in repertoire from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century. Whether you need a continuo team for an evensong or a full orchestra for a Passion, we will build the right forces for your music, your venue and your budget.

Most of our musicians live and work locally, which keeps travel costs down and means we know Oxford’s venues well.
Everything arranged
We fix the players and can arrange chamber organ and harpsichord hire, tuning and sheet music, so you can concentrate on the singing.

Confirm your booking
Once your plans are firm, complete our booking form with the details of your concert, and we will take it from there.
